Career
Abass Haidara has more than 30 years of experience in the banking and financial sector in West Africa. A banker by training, he built most of his career within major banking institutions of the sub-region.
In particular, he held the position of Managing Director of CBAO Benin – a subsidiary of the Attijariwafa Bank Group – from November 2014 to September 2021. For nearly seven years, he steered commercial development, strengthened internal governance and supervised risk and operations management.
He joins FAM advisory as a Partner, bringing a detailed knowledge of banking mechanisms, structured finance and West African financial markets.
